The Collective Dimension in the Activity of Physical Education Student-Teachers to Cope with Emotionally Significant Situations

The entry into the teaching profession is identified in literature as a special, complex, and emotionally intense stage. Some teachers adopt turnover or attrition coping tactics. aim of this study to understand effect collective dimension on professional development physical education student-teachers how they deal with significant situations. To avoid dropping out foster their well-being, beginners should develop abilities by sharing experiences. A mixed research design using questionnaire implementing clinical activity procedure was adopted. Student-teachers (n = 139) had write about 2 situations that experienced during teaching, then shared not others. second part involved following up five over course one year. total 32 filmed lessons an situation served support self-confrontation crossed interviews. data were processed method Bruno Méard. results show experience many situations, highlights importance help them cope emotional overload. Finally, these open potential value hybridised teacher model student-teachers, particularly when considering nature necessity experiences order better them.
